Saas-Fee is a car-free mountain village surrounded by glacier slopes and hiking trails like few other places. Our holiday houses Haus Slalom and Haus Alfa are right in the village: the cable cars, restaurants and the Aqua Allalin leisure centre are just a few minutes’ walk away. You can safely leave your car at home – you won’t need it here.
Saas-Fee lies at around 1,800 m in Valais and is surrounded by numerous 4,000-metre peaks. The village is car-free – you get around on foot, and the cable cars, shops and restaurants are all close by. In Saas-Fee we rent out 19 holiday apartments in two houses: Haus Alfa with studios and apartments with up to four bedrooms, and Haus Slalom with apartments for 2 to 8 guests. Bed linen is always included.
The Saas-Fee ski area reaches up onto the Allalin glacier. The Metro Alpin takes you up to Mittelallalin at around 3,500 m – thanks to the altitude, the season is particularly long. There are also cross-country trails, winter hiking paths, sledging runs and the Aqua Allalin leisure centre with indoor pool and spa for bad-weather days.
In summer Saas-Fee is the starting point for hikes, high-alpine tours and via ferratas. Popular choices are the trail to the glacier, walks across the alpine meadows or a visit to the ice pavilion inside the glacier. Families love the playgrounds, the summer toboggan run and the marmot area above the village.
Take the train to Visp and then the PostBus straight to Saas-Fee. If you come by car, park in the multi-storey car park at the village entrance – our houses are just a few minutes’ walk away. We are happy to help you plan your journey.
